Privacy Policy
How Rust Samrajya 3X handles your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Last updated: August 24, 2026.
1 Who We Are, the Data Fiduciary
ShadowTrace Solutions Private Limited operates the Rust Samrajya 3X Rust game server and this website (rustsamrajya.live). Under the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, and you are the Data Principal.
- Contact for all data protection matters: Yash Kute, Grievance Officer & Data Protection Contact, yash.kute@shadowtrace.in
2 This Is an 18+ Service
The DPDP Act treats everyone under the age of 18 as a child, and processing a child's personal data requires verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. We do not operate a service for children.
- Rust Samrajya 3X is open to players aged 18 and over only. By playing on the server or using this site you confirm you are at least 18.
- We do not knowingly process any child's personal data. If we learn that a player is under 18, the account is removed from the server and their leaderboard entry is deleted.
- We do not carry out behavioural tracking, profiling or targeted advertising directed at children, and our advertising audiences exclude under-18s.
- If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child's data appears here, email yash.kute@shadowtrace.in and we will remove it.
3 What We Collect, Why, and On What Basis
- Leaderboard data: when you play, our stats plugin records your SteamID64, in-game display name and gameplay statistics (kills, deaths, resources, raids and similar), and fetches your public Steam avatar. Purpose: to run and publish the competitive leaderboard, which is a core advertised feature of the server. Basis: your consent, given by choosing to play on a server that publicly advertises the leaderboard, and withdrawable at any time under section 7 below.
- Live player list: while you are connected we store your SteamID64 and display name so the site can show who is online. Purpose: the live server status. Basis: consent, as above. Entries are removed within three minutes of you disconnecting.
- Streamer / partner applications: the in-game name, Discord username, platform, channel URL and message you submit. Purpose: to review your application. Basis: steps taken at your own request.
- VIP subscriptions: your Discord identity and the SteamID64 the perks attach to. Purpose: to deliver what you paid for and keep records the law requires us to keep. Basis: performance of our contract with you, and legal obligation.
- Server and hosting logs: standard technical logs including IP addresses, kept by our hosting providers. Purpose: security, abuse prevention and anti-cheat. Basis: legitimate use for maintaining the integrity and security of the service.
We collect nothing beyond this. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers named in section 4.
4 Cookies, Processors & Third Parties
- This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is a single flag recording that you confirmed you are 18 or over, so we do not ask again.
- Live stream players on the Streamers page load only after you click them. Clicking connects you to YouTube, Twitch or Kick, which set their own cookies under their own policies.
- Player avatars load from Steam's CDN and fonts from Google Fonts, your browser sends your IP address to those services when loading them.
- Processors we use: Hostinger (website and database hosting), Google Cloud Platform (game server hosting), Discord (community and VIP delivery), Valve/Steam (avatars and player identity). Each processes data only on our instructions.
5 Where Your Data Is Stored, and For How Long
- Leaderboard statistics are kept for as long as the server operates, including past-wipe history, because the historical board is part of the service.
- Live player-list entries are deleted within three minutes of disconnection.
- Streamer applications are deleted once reviewed, or after 90 days at the latest.
- Subscription records are kept as long as tax and company law requires, then deleted.
- Technical logs are retained for as long as applicable Indian law requires and no longer than necessary for security purposes.
- We keep personal data no longer than the purpose needs, and erase it when you withdraw consent unless a law requires us to retain it.
6 How We Protect It
We take reasonable security safeguards as required by section 8(5) of the DPDP Act: credentials are held outside the public web directory, database access is restricted by IP, administrative interfaces are not publicly reachable, and access is limited to the operator. No system is perfect, if a personal data breach occurs we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected Data Principal, as the Act requires.
7 Your Rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access: a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Correction, completion, updating and erasure: including having your leaderboard entry corrected, anonymised or removed entirely.
- Withdraw consent: as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing means we stop publishing your stats and delete your board entry.
- Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
- Grievance redressal: a response from us before you need to go any further.
To exercise any of these, email yash.kute@shadowtrace.in or message us on Discord from an account we can verify owns the Steam profile in question. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge.
8 Grievance Officer
As required by the DPDP Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021:
- Name: Yash Kute
- Designation: Grievance Officer & Data Protection Contact, ShadowTrace Solutions Private Limited
- Email: yash.kute@shadowtrace.in
We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
9 Players Outside India
We are an Indian service governed by Indian law. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK we will honour equivalent requests for access, rectification, erasure and objection through the same contact above, and you retain the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
10 Changes
